“This book contains articles and addresses by Siemens, a retired professor in the faculty of agriculture of the University of Manitoba, along with a memoir from his family’s life. He spoke and wrote a lot about food and population issues, and assisted in the development of agriculture studies at Khon Kaen University in Thailand and the University of Zambia in Africa. He did a great of work abroad for the U of M, CIDA and the Mennonite Central Committee. He was an active churchman and served his own denomination, the Mennonite Brethren, on several school boards.”–
