Anna lived through the turbulent years of WW1, the communist revolution, and the ensuing civil war. The unsettled circumstances of time and her own fragile health prevented her from obtaining the formal education she so longed for. In 1924, she immigrated to Canada from the Molotschna Mennonite Colony in Ukraine. This is her diary.
