Princess is the story of a polar bear mother and her two tiny cubs. As she teaches them their first lessons of life, the story introduces many species that call the Canadian Arctic home.
Written in rhyming couplets, Princess will delight youngsters between two and five, charm their parents and grandparents, and show how human families face many of the same challenges Princess and her family encounter daily.
A teacher and school principal for many years, Dennis Fast retired to devote more time to his passions, birding and photography. Since then, he has contributed to 10 books, including Wapusk: White Bear of the North and The Land Where the Sky Begins: both featured his photography exclusively. Princess is his first children’s story.
