One Body Many Parts: The Mennonite Churches in Paraguay

This book is a translation of historian Gerhard Ratzlaff’s book Ein Leib–viele Glieder (2001) in which he surveys the denominational diversity of all the Mennonite churches in Paraguay with great attention to minute detail and historical background. The important impetus for the translation into English was the anticipation of the convening of the 2009 Mennonite World Conference and that fact that more than 1000 Paraguayan Mennonites have settled in English-speaking Canada. The book is a good general overview of the various Mennonite denominations and their work in Paraguay.
